At a time when emotions are heightened due to the loss of a loved one and when words don’t seem enough to express the feelings inside, it can be helpful to turn to someone who can naturally empathise with you and who has a maturity of understanding. A funeral celebrant can help portray the life and times of an individual within the context of their wishes and the wishes of the family, as well as conduct a timely event.
As an independent celebrant, any funeral director, family or venue can contact me; usually the funeral director, possibly at your request. I will meet with family and discuss all preferences for the ceremony, including of course all the ways in which a loved one can be suitably remembered in a way that may just provide a little comfort at what can be a very difficult time.
Following as comprehensive a meeting as possible I will prepare the service, during which time I will send you a copy of any chosen Eulogy for approval and to make any changes needed.
The Funeral Ceremony
The ceremony itself will portray your ideas and wishes in both style and content to create the one envisaged by you. On the day itself I will be ready for your arrival to make sure all is as it should be, before leading the ceremony we have prepared.
Afterwards, I will present you with your own written copy of the ceremony for your keeping.
